Denver Colorado’s Fillmore Auditorium transformed into a metal epicenter on April 8th, 2025 as Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium brought their Poisoned Ascendancy Tour to town, which was a celebration of the 20th anniversary of their albums “The Poison” and “Ascendancy” respectively. The show was backed by an absolutely stacked lineup featuring Sylosis and August Burns Red.
Kicking off the night, Sylosis tore through a set of blistering riffs and raw aggression, instantly waking up the crowd. August Burns Red followed with a technically tight, emotionally intense set that had fans screaming every lyric and throwing down throughout their set.

With a lineup consisting of Jake Luhrs (vocals), John Brubaker (lead guitar), Brent Rambler (rhythm guitar), Dustin Davidson (bass), and Matt Greiner (drums), the band has maintained its core sound while evolving through the years.
Their music blends intricate guitar riffs, aggressive breakdowns, and powerful vocals, often addressing themes of personal struggle and social issues. Influenced by bands like Between the Buried and Me and Misery Signals, they’ve created a signature style that’s both heavy and melodic.

Trivium

The band's lineup features Matthew Tuck (vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael "Padge" Paget (lead guitar), Jamie Mathias (bass), and Jason Bowld (drums).
Their debut album, The Poison (2005), propelled them to international acclaim, blending melodic hooks with aggressive riffs. Subsequent releases like Scream Aim Fire (2008), Fever (2010), and Venom (2015) solidified their reputation, selling over 3 million albums worldwide.
In 2021, BFMV released their self-titled seventh album, marking a return to their heavier roots. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Poison, they embarked on 'The Poisoned Ascendancy' Tour alongside Trivium, performing their seminal albums in full.
