Abby Anderson @ Lost Lake Lounge
Abby Anderson wanted to meet Colorado proper before opening for Stevie Nicks at Ball Arena a couple days later. She decided the best way to do this was to play an acoustic set at the intimate setting of Lost Lake Lounge in Denver Colorado on 5/29/2024. She invited the Colorado local singer-songwriter, Emelise, to open for her. The two paired perfectly and both gave us an outstanding performance.

Emelise
Emelise, the Rocky Mountain Front Range, indie singer-songwriter opened the night. It was truly a joy to watch her perform. Everyone in attendance that night should revel in memory of seeing this rising superstar in such a cozy setting. Her infectious stage presence and thoughtful lyrics prove that one day she will be selling out venues much larger than this one. From her already extensive catalog and powerful voice, Emelise is coming to take the music world by storm.
*Ever since she started performing at age six, she has often been described as having the voice of an old soul. While she enjoys playing covers by her influences periodically, Emelise primarily performs songs from her own catalog. In 2017 and 2022, Emelise placed first in The Stars of Tomorrow Competition at the world famous New York’s Apollo Theatre.

Abby Anderson
Abby Anderson graced the small stage at Lost Lake Lounge with her big personality and powerful performance. Speaking backstage with her, I really got a sense that she absolutely loves what she does and is very much so, for the people. This show was a prequel show to her opening for icon Stevie Nicks at Ball Arena. She stated on stage that she wanted to really meet Colorado and see who we were.
The roughly 150 of us who got to witness this superstar in such a close and personal venue were truly lucky. Although it was just her up there on stage, she effortlessly transitioned from guitar to keys keeping the set fresh and unexpected. Abby engaged with the crowed, not only during her set but after, at her merch table. She wanted to meet each and every one of us, taking pictures with fans and singing autographs. Her dedication to the craft and the fans easily explains why she has such a dedicated following. We look forward to covering more shows from her in the future as she starts to headline more and more.
*Abby Anderson, blending new age tones with heartfelt storytelling and pop melodies, found her passion for music at a young age. After signing with Black River Entertainment in 2017, her career skyrocketed. Recognized by Pandora and featured on prestigious lists like "CMT 18 for 2018," she released her debut EP, "I’M GOOD," amassing over 100 million streams. Despite early success, Anderson felt the pressure to conform. However, the pandemic-induced pause in 2020 allowed her to rediscover her voice. Collaborating with Executive Producer Marshall Altman in 2021, she embraced authenticity, releasing "Bad Posture," a reflection of her journey. Now, with a renewed sense of self, Anderson is poised to unveil music that embraces her past while embodying her present, marked by joy, acceptance and positivity.
