Spite and Bodysnatcher @ Summit Music Hall
Spite and Bodysnatcher co-headline The Common Enemies Tour at Summit Music Hall in Denver Colorado on May 31st, 2024. They were supported by heavy hitters Thrown, Mouth For War and 10 to the Chest. On this tour Spite and Bodysnatcher take turns on who closes out the night. We had Spite take us to closing in true headliner fashion.

10 to the Chest
What originally started as a digital only, 2-man project quickly became the band we know today as 10 to the Chest. Our very own Colorado Springs band started in 2022 and has been performing shows alongside some massive artists. Their energy right from the start set a precedent for night to come, the circle pit didn’t take long to form as the band gave us a heavy performance.
Mouth for War
*Mouth For War, a Colorado quintet comprised of Trae Roberts, Mason Sego, Gabe Moya, Jonah Starbuck, and Michael Guglielmi, channels the power of catharsis through their music. Their sound blends metal intensity with hardcore spirit and earth-rumbling grooves, inviting listeners to join in a collective release of emotion. Following the success of their debut album "Life Cast In Glass" and earning praise from publications like Outburn and MetalSucks, they hold nothing back on their second full-length LP, "Bleed Yourself." Drawing influences from both modern and classic heavy music, their music resonates with fans of bands like Lamb of God, Hatebreed, and Pantera. Mouth For War brings an unflinchingly honest and uncontainable burst of aggression and emotion to the stage, uniting audiences in a powerful experience.

Thrown
Swedish quartet thrown, fronted by ex-Grieved vocalist Marcus Lundqvist, signed to Arising Empire are some heavy newcomers (2022). Known for their intense and crushing guitar work combined with catchy, aggressive vocal rhythms, thrown deliver a modern take on heavy music filled with raw anger. The lineup includes Johan Liljeblad and Andreas Malm on guitars, and drummer Buster Odeholm (Vildhjarta/Humanity’s Last Breath). With a mission to spread their message of self-loathing through gut-punching metalcore and hardcore, Thrown are already gearing up to be a massive force in the scene. Their high-energy performances promise to have fans singing along and burning through their energy in the pit.
Bodysnatcher
Bodysnatcher is an American deathcore band from Melbourne, Florida. The band currently consists of vocalist Kyle Medina, drummer Chris Whited, bassist Kyle Shope and guitarist Kyle Carter. *An epically unashamed demonstration of aggression, Bodysnatcher’s music is dark, furious, and threatening. It’s a sound born from the burden of struggle and an unwavering commit- ment to continued survival against all obstacles. Bodysnatcher put the “core” back in Death- core.

Spite
*Spite, a deathcore band from Southern California, formed with Darius Tehrani on vocals, Alex Tehrani on guitar, Stephen Mallory on bass (later replaced by Ben Bamford), and Cody Fuentes on drums. Known for their energetic and aggressive sound that blends downtempo and hardcore elements, Spite gained a loyal following. They signed with Stay Sick Recordings, releasing two albums: "Nothing Is Beautiful" (2017) and "The Root of All Evil" (2019). The lineup later expanded with Lucas Garrigues as the second guitarist. In 2021, Spite signed to Rise Records and announced a new album, with Josh Miller (formerly of Emmure and Darko) replacing Fuentes on drums.
