Abraham Alexander
Abraham Alexander is a Fort Worth-based musician born in Greece to Nigerian parents. He moved to Texas at age 11 to escape racial tensions. Initially focused on soccer, a knee injury led him to music, teaching himself guitar through YouTube. His soulful blend of folk, blues, and soul draws from personal experiences of pain, trauma, and loss, yet conveys a message of hope and resilience.
Alexander gained attention by collaborating with Leon Bridges and performing at notable events like ACL Fest and South by Southwest. His debut album "Sea/Sons" was released in 2023, showcasing his evocative storytelling and rich musical heritage. Alexander's work continues to resonate deeply with audiences, reflecting his unique background and emotional depth.
