The Disco Biscuits

The Disco Biscuits, formed in 1995 in Philadelphia, are the trailblazers of jamtronica, fusing improvisational rock with electronic dance beats. The band consists of Jon "The Barber" Gutwillig (guitar/vocals), Marc "Brownie" Brownstein(bass/vocals), Aron Magner (keys/vocals), and Allen Aucoin (drums).

Known for their "trancefusion" style, The Disco Biscuits blend psychedelic rock, jazz, blues, and EDM into extended live jams. In 1997, Magner’s introduction of the Roland JP-8000 synthesizer added a signature electronic edge, shaping their genre-defining sound.

The band founded Camp Bisco in 1999, a festival uniting jam bands and electronic artists like STS9, Pretty Lights, and Bassnectar. They’ve also created ambitious rock operas, including Hot Air Balloon (1998), Chemical Warfare Brigade(2000), and their latest, Revolution in Motion (2024)—a sci-fi concept album set during a Times Square New Year's Eve concert.

With over two decades of groundbreaking performances and studio innovation, The Disco Biscuits remain at the forefront of the live music scene. Their genre-blurring sound continues to captivate fans worldwide.
